Protect our National Interests
Providing for the common defense is perhaps the most important duty of the Federal Government. We must maintain a strong defense at all costs and remain vigilant as the world continues to be a dangerous and confusing place.
We must take a serious look at our current defense structure and how we provide defense for our country. As we move forward in this analysis we most likely will discover that the technologies that are currently in place, needed and effective are different from those of the massive structures of years past: special forces have become more important, high-tech weapons and air systems and technologies are becoming the driving capabilities.
Finally, we must work with current and emerging technologies to allow them to move into general industry and business, as they have proven to create jobs far outside the defense industry.
