At Some Point, People Have to Get Back to Work
As we reward the unemployed by continuing to over-extend benefits, have we continued to stifle their efforts to find work? America must create an atmosphere where job growth can take place. The extension of unemployment benefits slows our progress.
In addition, Congressional action to overextend unemployment benefits further drains the budget. We need to focus on creating an environment where individuals can get back to work, instead of incentivizing them not to work.
